Developer behind controversial plan for Fayetteville apartments is back with new proposal By Elizabeth Doran Syracuse Post-Standard (NY) November 13, 2017 FAYETTEVILLE, NY - After a controversial proposal to build a 250-unit apartment complex on the former O'Brien & Gere manufacturing site in Fayetteville was met with opposition by residents, the developer pulled the plug on the plan in January 2016. Now that developer is back with a new proposal for the Fayetteville site, this one somewhat different that the initial plan. Morgan Management is looking to build a mixed-use project, which would include 200 apartment units and some retail, officials said.
