Parents concerned about chemical warnings near Rochester schools

News10NBC is continuing its investigation into cancer-causing chemicals found inside a county office building and the building across the street which hosts two high schools.

The state says elevated levels of TCE have been detected at the buildings.

Years ago, when Bausch and Lomb operated out of the building, the state DEC says an underground storage tank leaked and contaminated the soil. Since then, this has been a designated brownfield cleanup site.
