No contamination found at city's brownfield sites By Mickey Powell Martinsville Bulletin (VA) January 25, 2018 MARTINSVILLE – No major ground contamination so far has been discovered at five sites that city officials are targeting for redevelopment, Martinsville City Council learned Tuesday night. “We’re very fortunate” for that, said Councilwoman Kathy Lawson. But the process of evaluating the properties is far from over.
