Approval of Novi brownfield redevelopment plan makes way for $27 million investment

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners has approved a brownfield redevelopment plan for a 26-acre property in Novi. 

Pulte Homes will take ownership of a property, located at 26700 Wixom Road, in Novi, in 2019. Before construction of any houses begins, the property must be cleaned of any environmental contaminants as it’s the former home of Whitesell Formed Components, a manufacturer of piercing, clinching, and riveting fasteners for the automotive market.
