New water wells prohibited in central city By DARRELL SMITH Connersville News-Examiner (IN) June 6, 2018 New water wells will not be allowed in an area near two places where low levels of chemicals may be in the water. Connersville City Council approved an environmental restrictive ordinance, called an ERO, to prevent residents from drilling water wells in the central part of the city because chlorinated volatile organic compounds are in the water.
