Homeowners north of Springfield share TCE test results By Taylor Frost KY3 (Springfield, MO) January 15, 2019 SPRINGFIELD, Mo -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) tested 146 wells in November and December. There were 30 wells that tested positive for trichloroethylene (TCE) but were within the maximum contamination level (MCL). Three had levels of TCE higher than the MCL. Everett Kennell has lived in Northern Greene County for many years.
