Toxic Milwaukee apartment building: New photos reveal where chemical is leaking
High levels of Trichloroethylene forced mass evacuation in March

MILWAUKEE — It's nearing four weeks, and displaced residents of the Community Within the Corridor apartments at 32nd and Center streets still don't know when or if they can go home.

"What's the biggest thing you want to know at this point?" WISN 12 News' Hillary Mintz asked.

"The time frame of when I'll be entering my home," Christa Bishop told WISN 12 News Wednesday.

Bishop has been living out of a hotel with her three kids while the developers take vapor mitigation steps to seal up exposed areas where the dangerous, cancer-causing carcinogen Trichloroethylene, or TCE, is seeping into the building.

WISN 12 News obtained about 40 photos from inside the apartments, where there are gaping holes in beams and walls.
