Depot lands soon ready for transfer

As early as 2008, Letterkenny Army Depot is scheduled to transfer the 
final acres from the 1995 Base Realignment and Closure action.

"We have a schedule showing the end is in sight," said Bryan Hoke, 
coordinator of the BRAC environmental cleanup at Letterkenny. "It's 
getting closer."

Ten years after BRAC 1995, the Army has transferred about half of the 
1,462 acres it promised to the Letterkenny Industrial Development 
Authority, which is developing the Cumberland Valley Business Park there.
