Public workshops on Lone Star, RRAD properties scheduled for MondayBy Aaron Brand Texarkana Gazette (TX) July 16, 2006 Public workshops will be held Monday to give information about reuse of land at Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and Red River Army Depot in the wake of the base closure and realignment decisions last year. Three different workshops will be held at the Red River Redevelopment Authority office in Red River Commerce Park, beginning at 8 a.m. for the 15th Street Army Reserve Center in Texarkana, Texas; at 10 a.m. for about 3,800 acres of land at the west end of RRAD; and at 1 p.m. for about 15,500 acres at LSAAP. People or groups who have an interest in using the properties are welcome to attend. ...
