City Begins Plan to Reuse Military Propertyby: Valerie Swayne Long Beach Beachcomber (CA) July 21, 2006 From oceanfront shops and restaurants at the downtown Pike, to the lush expanse of parks and golf courses such as El Dorado, Long Beach is known for its rich diversity of land. Soon residents can look forward to seeing new changes within their own backyard. Schroeder Hall Army Reserve Center, located on 3800 East Willow Street, is now available to local businesses and other organizations. The City of Long Beach is collecting Notices of Interest (NOI) for potential projects until Dec. 15.
