After cleanup, the range can be used for two purposes: a park and a cemetery

The issue of Clark County acquiring Camp Bonneville from the Army has been dragged to the brink of fossilization by examination. It is time for county commissioners to act decisively and accept the Army's offer not only to turn over the property to the county but also clean former weapons-use areas of any possible unexploded ordnance.

A chorus of "Yeah, but ..." and "What if ..." laments could continue ad infinitum, but those pleas already have been heard. They should not be allowed to drown out these basic realities:
