Former Fuel Site Decontamination Continues
It could be at least a year before the land can be sold.

Tuesday night, Wells Township got a progress report on the clean-up of a former Air Force defense fuel site that started about four years ago. An Air Force engineer said it could be as soon as a year before any building could take place on the site that formerly provided jet fuel for K.I. Sawyer.

The Air Force is responsible for decontamination stemming from the government's use of the land, as well as past industries on the site. However, they only have to meet a minimum standard.
