EMPIRE BIOFUELSBy DAVID KIDD Finger Lakes Times (NY) March 8, 2006 Heard town resident Kevin Swartley, who is a member of the Empire Biofuels board, offer general information about the ethanol plant that the grassroots company is considering building at the former Seneca Army Depot. The potential is for the plant to turn 18.7 million bushels of corn into 50 million gallons of ethanol “with no by-products for the landfill,” he said. The proposed plant would create 35 direct jobs with more in other industries servicing the facility. ...
