No word from ArmyBy Jon Ruhlen Parsons Sun (KS) May 23, 2006 The Local Redevelopment Planning Authority is still waiting on the Army to release a list of surplus munitions-manufacturing equipment it will leave at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant. The Army was scheduled to release the list May 9. LRPA director Dan Goddard said the reason for the delay is not known. He said all ammunition plants that are being closed by the Base Realignment and Closure Commission nationwide are affected. Goddard said he is supposed to have a list of equipment at the plant by today but that the Army is still determining what equipment will be declared surplus. ...
