No plan is too large or 'crazy' for BNASBy DENNIS HOEY Portland Press Herald (ME) June 19, 2006 BRUNSWICK - Even as federal, state and local agencies set their sights on pieces of Brunswick Naval Air Station, members of the group planning its redevelopment are about to take their mission public. Members of the Brunswick Local Redevelopment Authority have scheduled a public "visioning" session for Wednesday, the first step toward engaging the public in the master reuse plan that it must finalize by August 2007. That meeting will be followed on June 29 with a forum in Brunswick to gather input about potential aviation uses of the base. And the brainstorming sessions will be followed by other events, including a series of public bus tours of the 3,000-plus-acre military installation in July and August and a separate visioning forum just for youth. ...
