Public weighs in on KAAP

Most of the buildings at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant are 
specifically designed for explosives manufacturing and have limited 
potential for other uses.

However, environmental contamination issues on the property are minimal, 
especially compared to other ammunition plants nationwide.

RKG Associates Inc. presented these findings and others to members of 
the community and the Local Redevelopment Planning Authority Thursday in 
a series of meetings.
