Aggressive marketing is part of Pease airport's future

PORTSMOUTH - AS Pease International Tradeport nears capacity for available leased property, developers in charge of Pease International Tradeport are focusing their sights on expanding and developing public use of its growing airport.

A big draw for businesses looking to draw resources -- and employees -- from Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Pease expects to meet full capacity in the next six years, although it's currently filled approximately 90 percent of its office space.

The airport is only about 50 percent developed, but that is expected to grow fast as well.
