Wednesday March 15 at 9 am San Francisco's NPR station, KQED (88.5 fm), will be airing a program on military base closure, cleanup and conversion. Lenny Siegel (CAREER/PRO and The Pacific Studies Center), Michael Closson (The Center for Economic Conversion) and Saul Bloom (ARC Arms Control Reserach Center) will be the guests. All are locally based (to the San Francisco Bay Area) and nationally recognized experts in the area of base closure, military environmental degradation, and subsequent economic conversion. | |
