A brief introduction: I am a graduate student at the Department of 
Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, College Park. 
I am writing my dissertation on differing conceptions of 
environmental security in the United States and a couple of cases 
abroad. I am also project associate for the Woodrow Wilson 
International Center for Scholars' Environmental Change and Security 
Project here in Washington.
