FFERDC internet conference

As many of you know there is an advisory committee known as the 
Federal Facalities Environmental Restoration Dialogue Committee 
(FFERDC) that advises the EPA on policy around cleanup of federal 
facilities. RABs and SSABs came about in part due to the work os this 
group. 

In February of 1993 the committee published the "Interim Report of The 
Federal Facilities Environmental Restoration Dialogue Committe, 
Recommendations For Improving The Federal Facilities Evironmental 
Restoration Decision-Making And Priority-Setting Process". The report 
became known in more familiar terms as the "Teal Book".

Currently, the FFERDC is in the process of producing the final report 
which they hope to have finished by the begining of next year. There 
is a lot of redrafting of previous portions and additions to the 
interim report. Because community and public input is a valuable part 
of this process The Keystone Center (the organization that facilitates 
the FFERDC) has set up a public conference for all members of the 
FFERDC and stakeholders who are not members of the Committee.

This conference will be used to solicit and manage comments by anyone 
interested in the FFERDC deliberations. Anyone can read and post 
messages to this conference. In this conference, stakeholders ca post 
responses to questions posed by FFERDC members and post messages about 
new topics or issues bring addressed by the FFERDC.
