Tucson Interrnation Airport, where AF Plant 44 is a major contributor to both cleanup and contamination, appears to be sticking to its schedule. The Air Force has had to cut back on travel, and the project manager out of Wright AFB in Ohio does not regulary attend the UCAB meetings (equivalent to RAB). Right now, this seems to be the only problem. I suspect, however, that remediation efforts will be phased to accomodate budget losses, and that there will be additional incentives to apply to EPA for waiver to stop remediation at some locations.
