Marylia and List:
Another reason to oppose Deutch (in addition to his covering for
crimes of the NSA and NRO, as well as the obvious CIA crimes):
Check out the article "St. Augustine's rules" in the Summer 1996
World Policy Journal. It's a description of how Lockheed martin
chairman Norm Augustine used his weight and personal friendships with
Deutch and Bill Perry to secretly and illegally overturn a
Congressional ruling that prevented LockMart board members from
receiving $30 million in taxpayer-fiunanced personal bonuses as a
"reward" for merging Lockheed and Martin. Some of you may be aware
that Rep. Bernie Sanders sponsored legislation in late 1995 to prevent
these subsidies from going through, but few know that the gang of
Augustine, Deutch, and Perry secretly and illegally reprogrammed this
money by refiguring the federal awards to Lockheed and Martin during
1992 to 1995. One way or another, the board members wanted to get
personal bonuses from the feds for merging, and Deutch and Perry used
their power in the cabinet to made sure this happened!
Deutch should be in prison. But then again, don't they need
criminals to be DCI?
