Noise abatement is a weak response to aircraft noise. Some of us
actually like to spend time outside. I recall unfondly having to halt
outdoor conversations or to stop playing with my kids when Navy planes
from Moffett Field went over my home. Once or twice a day is tolerable,
but this happened dozens of times on a typical day, often in rapid
succession.

Backyard gardening shouldn't be like trench warfare!
