Subject: | TRI Inventory Data Available On Internet |
Right-To-Know Network Makes 1996 Toxics Release Inventory Data Available On Internet You can now use the Web to access data collected by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI). The data is available at no charge to the public through the Right-To-Know Network (RTK-NET). The TRI was created by the EPA under mandate from the Community Right to Know Act of 1996. It provides public access to information about chemical releases in communities in the U.S. You can use the database and identify chemical releases by specific chemical, industry, individual facility (now including military bases), or geographic location. For more information, visit RTK-NET's Web site at <www.rtk.net> or contact the their Help Desk at (202) 234-8494. Jeff Green CPEO | |
