I personally agree with you that some of the language in the Comite's
press release was unnecessary.  These are, however, the people who live
there, not the outside analysts.  The death and injuries are one incident
among many that have led most people on the island, as well as the Puerto
Rican legislature, to call for an end to the bombing practice on Vieques.

Thoughts?
