Subject: | Depleted Uranium |
Many Americans are opposed to the bombing of Serbia, while totally unsympathetic to Milosevic and his reign of terror. It's easy for us to oppose the use of uranium weapons. And we don't feel like we're just spreading Yugoslavian propaganda. Even those people who think U.S. policy in Kosovo makes sense should think twice about the use of DU weapons. The spread of uranium and uranium oxide throughout the Kosovo landscape will make it even harder for the displaced people of Kosovo - of whatever ethnic background to return safely to their homes and fields.
