INQUIRY RE: MERCURY
Am trying to determine at what point exposure to mercury-contaminated
sediments or soils is considered a health risk based on dermal exposure
and/or incidental ingestion, i.e. kids building sand castles, making mud
pies, etc.
1. Does anyone have human health based numbers for mercury-contaminated
sediments and/or soils? Need documentation or source for your numbers.
2. Also, does anyone live near a facility where mercury has
contaminated groundwater and/or drinking water wells?
THANKS!!
Laura
P.S. Please don't send stuff on fish and ingestion of fish -- have tons
of information already.
