Any delay could push back development of a proposed theme park and resort, and the request has raised concerns for state regulators who will oversee the Oz environmental cleanup of the site. Oz requested the option in the past month, but the federal government has not decided whether to grant the request, said Blaine Hastings, the General Services Administration official overseeing the transfer.
