Jones Daily News Reporter TOPEKA, KS - A gubernatorial task force, charged with scoring proposed state highway projects, wasn't impressed with a proposed interchange for a future Wonderful World of Oz. The interchange was among the system-enhancement projects considered for their economic-development value by a nine-member review panel, headed by Lt. Gov. Gary Sherrer. The $1 billion system-enhancement program is a component of the 10-year, $13.4 billion transportation program passed by the Legislature in 1999 (see related article). The panel's rankings were released Thursday at a news conference in the lieutenant governor's office.
