Mullen Jr. Reno Gazette-Journal Thursday November 2nd, 2000 A Lassen County resident is suing the Army because he says munitions explosions at the Sierra Army Depot are shaking his house to pieces. Larry Beach of Milford, Calif., who lives 13 miles from the depot, filed suit against the federal government in U.S. District Court in Sacramento. Beach previously filed two damage claims with the Army and both were denied. He said the lawsuit is his only option for compensation. Larry Rogers, spokesman for the depot, said Wednesday that the facility's legal office hasn't seen the lawsuit.
