Job Announcement

The Military Toxics Project is a national, non-profit network of 
environmental justice groups, community organizations, workers and veterans 
based in Lewiston, Maine.  MTP has been working toward finding preventative 
solutions to Department of Defense pollution.   MTP works with 
constituencies that are impacted by production, use and disposal practices 
of toxic and radioactive products at military facilities.
MTP is searching for a full-time Organizer.  Starting salary range is 
$27,000 - $30,000 (depending on experience).  The position includes 
benefits after 90 days orientation period.
The candidate should possess:
1.	Good creative writing skills
2.	Ability to handle multiple tasks
3.	Good time management skills
4.	Experience with grassroots organizing
5.	Experience with environmental justice concerns
6.	Good communication and peoples skills
7.	Strong environmental justice principles
