Subject: | [CPEO-MEF] RAB Crisis - HELP! |
[from Laura Olah <olah@speagle.com>] Today, the Army announced its intent to establish a new RAB without a vote from the existing RAB to adjourn. Sound familiar? The Army is insisting on changes in our by-laws, esp co-chairmanship and a vote. (We've had a community chair since our inception 7+ years ago.) I understand DERP and other guidance recommends a military co-chair, however, I also understand that as a rule the military co-chair and enviromental regulators do NOT have a vote. I need to document this for the upcoming meeting of our (original) RAB. QUESTION: Do you have information on voting by the military and regulatory RAB members including what is happening at other bases in this regard? Something as simple as a list of several dozen RAB's where the military and regulators do not vote would do the trick. THANK YOU!!!!
