[CPEO-MEF] S. 350 Backed by Environment Committee

On Thursday, March 8, the Senate Committee on Environment and Public
Works ordered to be reported: S. 350, as amended by the managers'
amendment, by a vote of 15 ayes and 3 noes. Voting against were Senators
Bond, Crapo, and Inhofe. S. 350 is the "Brownfields Revitalization and
Environmental Restoration Act of 2001," originally sponsored by Senators
Bob Smith, Chafee, Reid, and Boxer.

As I understand it, the committee is recommending passage of the bill as
introduced, but it still may be amended.
