WASHINGTON - A political threat to the lives of the men and women we send 
in harm's way to preserve our own lives has national security specialists, 
in and out of Congress, deeply troubled.
Left-wing pressures are being brought to bear to halt training operations 
on Vieques, the naval facility off Puerto Rico.
