Next ITRC UXO Basic Training Course to be held in Seattle

UXO Basic Training - Seattle will host the next UXO Basic Training course
July 23 and 24. A first of its kind in classroom training, the course
draws a diverse mix of state and federal regulators, industry leaders,
stakeholders, and DoD employees. Register on line today.
UXO Basic Training is two-day introduction to key environmental issues
associated with ordnance and explosives cleanup. Participants learn about
basic terminology, OE/UXO identification, safety concerns, regulatory
requirements, conventional and innovative technology, site
characterization, and remediation. The interactive course includes
lectures, handouts, case studies, and class participation. UXO Basic
Training also provides an opportunity for environmental professionals to
interact while gaining an understanding of important environmental and
public health concerns.
