By PAIGE AUSTIN Riverside Press-Enterprise (CA) August 17, 2004 NORCO - About 100 people met with state and federal regulators Monday night to discuss health concerns in the community surrounding Wyle Labs, a hazardous-testing facility. Officials from the California Department of Toxic Substances Control arranged the meeting to explain the latest in efforts to clean up cancer-causing contamination in the ground and water at and around Wyle. State officials also fended off calls for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to take over the cleanup of Wyle Labs.
