The elevated level is small and is not high enough to cause an immediate health concern, said Pratt City Manager David Howard. "If the level had posed an immediate health threat, the public would have been notified immediately," Howard said. Tests are under way by the Army Corps of Engineers to determine the source of the elevated levels of carbon tetrachloride found in the water well.
