DEP awaiting results of Tresca water tests By Carrie Simmons Westford Eagle (MA) October 20, 2004 Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection officials expect to know by next week if perchlorate is migrating off the Tresca Brothers Sand & Gravel site, according to according to Ed Coletta, a DEP spokesman. The DEP received permission to go onto the property from one of the property owners without having to take legal action, according to Coletta, and took samples of standing water Monday. The state agency does not plan to put in monitoring wells, Coletta said.
