Scientists try to identify radioactive metal found at plant

MIDDLETOWN, Iowa Researchers have failed thus far to identify a small 
chunk of radioactive metal found at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in 
August.

Steve Bellrichard, an environmental protection specialist at the plant, 
says the research is ongoing, but there's nothing new to report.

Experts say the radiation emitted from the object is less than a chest 
X-ray and does not pose a danger to people.
