Health Ministry: Water from closed Ramat Hasharon well is drinkable By Amiram Cohen Haaretz (Israel) November 8, 2004 The Health Ministry informed the Ramat Hasharon municipality at the end of last week that the local well water is fit to drink and that there is no danger in using it "in the foreseeable future," in spite of the fact the concentration of perchlorate, a potentially dangerous chemical, in the water is hundreds of times the unofficial standard. The statement followed the city's closure of a well in the Morasha neighborhood, near the Israel Military Industries. ...
