The Pentagon's overseer of next year's Base Realignment and Closure
round has resigned, four months before the base-closing process begins,
the Defense Department announced Wednesday.

Raymond DuBois, deputy undersecretary for installations and environment
and the Defense Department's director of administration and management,
cited personal reasons, according to a Pentagon statement.
