Neighbors dispute environmental study

The thoroughness of an environmental study of the Nike site by Ridge
Hill continues to be at the center of a dispute with neighbors and town
officials. 

Neighbors worry that any future activity at the site could spell
possible health hazards, and officials are trying to assure that public
safety is their top priority and proper testing has been done. 

"We're asking the town to do a study of the site and look for
contaminants," Carol Donnelly, a neighbor of the site, said in a Monday
interview. "You can't ignore the fact that this was abused for many
years."
