Residents pack first public hearing on disposition criteria By Don Eriksson Shirley Oracle (MA) March 9, 2005 DEVENS -- The Devens Committee (DC) hosted the first of two public hearings intended to involve Devens residents in the disposition process and gather their input in order to give them a voice in discussions scheduled by the Devens Disposition Executive Board (DDEB) for March 12. Despite the proximity of an approaching snowstorm, residents filled the conference room at 43 Buena Vista St. to review disposition scenarios developed by the DC over the past few weeks. Richard Montouri, senior vice president of operations, William Burke, executive vice president for Devens and military initiatives, and Victor Normand, vice president of community development, all of MassDevelopment, were among Devens officials present. ...
