Military improves compliance, pollution prevention, report says Waste News April 13, 2005 The Defense Department is continuing to improve environmental restoration, compliance with federal, state and local environmental laws, and pollution prevention, according to an annual report the Office of the Secretary of Defense sent to Congress on April 12.
