Group dealing with state funds to protect bases to meet here Yuma Sun April 26, 2005 A subcommittee of the Governor's Military Affairs Commission will be discussing rules for awarding statewide funds to ward off encroachment of military installations this week. The committee will have a public meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Yuma County Health Department Auditorium, 2200 W. 28th St. During their meeting, they will review the purpose of the fund, a draft of the rules and listen to public comment about the proposed guidelines. The rules include application deadlines, project criteria, the appeals process and decision-making procedures and notification. ...
