[I am passing along a slightly modified invitation from U.S. EPA to the 2005 National EPA Community Involvement Conference and Training, to be held in Buffalo, New York, July 12-15. - LS] The 2005 National EPA Community Involvement Conference is just around the corner! The draft agenda and registration information are available at the conference web site http://www.epancic.org/2005/. We look forward to the various learning and training opportunities, and hospitality by EPA Region 2. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in Buffalo! 1. Conference Registration: Please make sure you register for the conference at http://www.epancic.org/2005/registration.cfm by July 1, 2005. You must also pre-register for field trips, optional training, the keynote lunch, and the group social activity. 2. Hotel Reservations: A block of rooms for conference participants has been set aside at the government rate of $81 per night (plus tax of 13.25%). To make a reservation, please call the Hyatt Regency Buffalo at 716-855-4950 or toll-free at 800-223-1234. To ensure the federal government rate, inform the reservations office that you are with the "EPA Community Involvement Conference." Reservations must be made by June 11, 2005. You are encouraged to book early to secure a room at the government rate. 3. Poster Sessions: On the evening of Tuesday, July 12, EPA Region 2 will host a networking reception in conjunction with one of the poster sessions. The reception/poster session will be held in the hotel from 5:45-7:00 p.m. Please join us to network with your colleagues, view posters and talk with poster authors. Two awards, the "People's Choice Award" and the "Best Overall Poster," will be presented to recognize those individuals with the most outstanding poster presentations. The awards are open to any conference participant who presents a poster during the Poster Sessions.
