Goodyear, developer agree on moving houses for LukeDavid Madrid The Arizona Republic May 12, 2005 GOODYEAR - Days before the Department of Defense releases a list of military base closures, the Goodyear City Council approved a development agreement that removes 145 homes from the Luke Air Force Base high-noise zone. Under an agreement unanimously approved by the council Monday, developer Robson Communities agreed to move the proposed homes that encroached on the base in the PebbleCreek Resort Community Phase II to other areas within the development. Because of the council's action, all of the city's 3,783 acres in Luke's Southern Departure Corridor are now zoned so that they are compatible with Luke's mission. ...
