Study denies health risks for Rocketdyne workers Boeing report contradicts earlier findings By Grace Lee Ventura County Star (CA) April 9, 2005 People who worked at or near the contaminated Boeing Co. Rocketdyne facility in the Simi Hills do not face a higher risk of cancer death, according to a study released Friday that contradicts a previous investigation. Researchers concluded in the $3.5 million study funded by Boeing and the United Aerospace Workers that they found no credible evidence that shows employment at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory "adversely affected worker health." The previous study was completed in 1999 by the UCLA School of Public Health. ...
