Ex-depot property expected to lose Superfund status By Marijon Shearer Spippensburg Sentinel (PA) September 17, 2005 More than 300 acres of former Letterkenny Army Depot property targeted for private use could be taken off the national Superfund list and sold without environmental restrictions. The executive director of the Letterkenny Industrial Development Authority, which oversees the private Cumberland Valley Business Park on former depot land, told the LIDA board Monday that two tracts in the park could be "de-listed" from the Environmental Protection Agency's National Priorities List. "This is good news," John Van Horn, executive director of the business park, told the board. Van Horn said because the reclassification would make the property more saleable. ...
