21ST ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOILS, SEDIMENTS AND WATER

University of Massachusetts at Amherst October 17-20, 2005

The annual Conference on Contaminated Soils atthe University of Massachusetts at Amherst has become the preeminent technicalnational conference in this important environmental area. The conference attracts approximately 700 -800 attendees annually from across the United States as well as from Canada andother foreign countries. Attendees includea wide variety of representation from state and federal agencies; military; industries including railroad,petroleum, transportation, utilities; the environmental engineering andconsulting community; and academia.

This year's conference promises to be anexciting opportunity for all those concerned with the challenge of developingcreative, cost-effective assessments and solutions that can withstand thedemands of regulatory requirements. There will be a strong and diverse technical program in concert with avariety of educational opportunities available to attendees. The exhibition section brings the real-worldapplication to the technical theory and case studies, which will be presentedin the platform and poster sessions.
